On this occasion, Donald Trump is once again demonstrating his contempt for the program known as “60 Minutes.”

As a result of his decision to withdraw from an interview with journalist Lesley Stahl in 2020, which took place in the midst of the most recent presidential campaign, the former president has decided to postpone an interview that was supposed to be broadcast on a special edition of the iconic CBS News newsmagazine.

The interview was anticipated to be shown on Monday night. The scheduled time for the interview was the evening of Monday.

Until that point, Donald Trump had assured everyone he would participate.

“For over fifty years, ’60 Minutes’ has welcomed Democratic and Republican candidates to feature on our program as Americans approach the polls,” the program said in a statement that was posted on Tuesday. This is an excerpt from the statement.

In the current year, both the Harris campaign and the Donald Trump campaign have indicated that they are prepared to take part in an interview with the program ’60 Minutes’. During the conversation, Vice President Harris and correspondent Bill Whitaker will engage in discourse.

’60 Minutes’ requested an interview with Scott Pelley, and the campaign of former President Donald Trump initially agreed to participate in the interview. It has been decided by the campaign that they will not proceed with the interview. Throughout Monday evening, Pelley will participate in a discussion regarding the topic.

The current situation is the second time that Donald Trump and the program have been involved in a dispute regarding broadcasts. In addition, in the year 2020, the former president abruptly ended an interview with Stahl that was being filmed at the White House with the purpose of being shown on the CBS News program.

During the interview, Stahl was the primary focus. Following this, a film starring Donald Trump was released, in which Stahl was seen approaching the White House.

The film featuring Donald Trump was then introduced. Throughout.

The next day, he sent out a second tweet in which he announced that he would make a recording of his conversation with Stahl available to the general public prior to broadcasting the interview.

According to what is stated in the program for our election special, the interview with Harris is scheduled to be broadcast on Monday. In the announcement made by the program, it was stated that “Our initial invitation to former President Donald Trump for an interview on 60 Minutes remains valid.”

Throughout a number of years, the program “60 Minutes” has made it a habit to do interviews with candidates for the presidency in the weeks leading up to the election.

Donald Trump was allotted two segments, whereas Harris was given two segments according to their respective allocations.

The two camps came to an arrangement, which stipulated that each candidate would participate for half of the show’s broadcast. This agreement was formed between the two camps. This information was communicated by CBS News. Both sides have agreed to participate in the interviews that were requested.

On Tuesday, CBS News reported that a spokeswoman for the Donald Trump campaign informed the program that the former president will not be attending the conference. The statement was made by the spokesperson.

This week, the program intends to broadcast its interview with Vice President Harris, and in addition, it will record a piece with her while she is engaged in campaign activities.

Both of these events are scheduled to take place this week. It is predicted that Governor Tim Walz, who is now running for the Vice Presidency of the United States, will be one of the individuals who take part in the event.
